Charlton 8450C Fly Reel with a 7/8 SpoolA nice Charlton 8450C fly reel with a 7 8 spool. Set up for RHW but can be easily reversed to LHW. Excellent used condition with no significant issues except for a little minor scuffing here and there (a line is currently loaded onto the spool). Exceptional quality and the intelligent configurable design that these reels were known for. With the quick change of a spool you can alter both the weight of the reel and line with appropriate backing

The action is a smooth medium-fast dry-fly with excellent recovery

Crimson colored agate stripping guide matches well with the rest of the rod

The all nickel silver seat features a rolled and soldered ring and a soldered pocket cap

with some handsoiling to the grip and both tips have righthanded sets but the rod is good and clean otherwise
