Gbemi Adesanya / Sisi EkoGbemi Adesanya is a self taught mixed media artist based in New York City. Born and raised in Nigeria, her works are a juxtaposition of her past and present experiences drawing inspiration from the mundane and the extraordinary. Prior to pursuing artistry, she championed human rights causes and social justice issues in the nonprofit industry, including a stint in diplomacy at the UN.
