Harry Percy Hain Friswell, Landscape With Wildflower MeadowThis beautiful landscape painting by English artist Harry Percy Hain Friswell (1857 1941) depicts an undulant wildflower meadow before a copse and a wooded area. Radiant Summer light bathes the scenery its warm, incandescent and still. A lone worker continues the harvest, a heavy scythe held aloft. Friswell probably completed this during his time in Suffolk.
