Vintage 1940s Silver Box & Picture Frame Locket BroochVintage 1940s brooch featuring a silver bow with a hanging oval picture frame locket. The frame has a silver chain around it. The brooch is most likely from Europe, possible brought back to England after a trip abroad. The brooch is hallmarked with the numbers 800, this means the piece is silver. This type of hallmarks was used in Europe in the 19th and 20th century. MEASUREMENTS The brooch measures 3. 7cm 1. 4" in height and 2. 3cm 0. 9" in width.
