1920s Karess Woodworth Compact Vintage Silver Plated Antique CompactThis is a very lovely and intricate silver Plated Karess Woodworth powder and rouge compact from the 1920's. This compact was invented by Anker S. Lyhne who was better known for inventing the Lyhne Lamp in the 20's. He filed his patent for this compact on July 19. 1922, but he had to wait 4 years the patent was finally issued on January 19. 1926. The piece features an embossed flower and scroll motif on the top and bottom, as well as on the interior

It does have some corrosion around the inside edge surrounding the lid

3 3/4 inches in length by 2 3/4 inches in width and is a 1/2 inch in depth

This is a lovely vintage 1920's satin gold tone Richard Hudnut Three Flowers powder compact that is in excellent condition

It has a Japanese style graphic that goes all the way around the cardboard and tin can

This lovely bracelet would be perfect gift or would be a terrific accent to that little black dress

It has a gold tone swivel top to dispense the powder

with the original paper insert
