Gold French Compact Mother Of Pearl Blue Stones 1800s Antique Powder Rouge Compact RAREThis is a gorgeous and very rare late 1800's French antique gold tone powder and rouge compact with a lovely central mother of pearl medallion surrounded by 12 blue stones. The lid has an extremely ornate design that is really lovely with green enameling. It opens to a rope style framed beveled mirror that is in very good condition; with no chips or cracks or damage. Lift the mirror to find a compartment underneath with a place for a rouge powder

and opens to a spring loaded coin holder

lift up the little tab on the front of the snuffer to remove the top for filling
