Gilded Antique Bicone Beads from Sri Lanka - Rita Okrent Collection (ANT559)Antique Sri Lankan gilded bicone beads. These wonderful beads were originally sourced in Sri Lanka in the 1970's. Metal underneath may be brass or copper metal. Does not appear to be silver. Built in bead caps. Lovely metal work design. 3 match with similar granulation. Some of the gilding gold plate has worn off. They were like this at time of purchase in the 1970's. Likely manufactured in the early mid 1900's. Measurements (approximately): 16x12.
