1920's Compact Guilloche Compact Silver Compact Art Deco Compact Powder Compact Mirror Compact Rouge CompactThis is a lovely vintage 1920's Art Deco style silver tone powder and rouge compact. The piece is in wonderful condition with a pretty enameled guilloche center medallion with a hand painted pink rose and green leaves. It opens to a dial style sifter for your loose powder, and an empty rouge compartment inset in the mirror. The mirror is in good condition with no damage, and the hinge and closure work perfectly. The guilloche lid and enamel top is in excellent condition

The edges of this piece have a beautiful repousse pattern all the way around the compact

with a 8 inch gold tone chain handle

someone tore a bit of the foil wrap open

The compact has a gold plated interior and exterior trim

The powder box is still full of the original powder and is in fantastic condition

It measures approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter

The piece is hallmarked inside A M Co

and the double sided mirror is in excellent condition

It measures 2 inches square and is 1/2 an inch thick

Above the powder well in a covered rouge compartment still filled with the original unused mauve powder rouge

as well as the original pretty yellow trimmed powder puff with tiny roses on a satin ribbon
