The case is in very good condition. No dents or dings; just a few rub marks that can be seen in our high resolution photos. It measures 5 inches in length by 3 1 2 inches in width. It's a pretty silver plate case

and a very tiny chip on one edge of one side

and in the original box

with a glass lid that fits over top and clamps down tight to keep contents fresh

and the interior base of the compartment is dented
